Meet The Team

Bryony

Managing Director/Team Leader

Bryony lives in Cheltenham with her family and 2 dogs, Florence and Odin. Florence is a senior Lab/Terrier cross with a high prey drive and speed to match.  Odin is an amiable Working Golden Retriever who loves EVERYONE  – needless to say they both have very different training and management needs!

Bryony set up Cotswold Hound in 2014 to provide owners with a flexible, training based walking service, focussing on small, harmonious groups.

Bryony manages the walking team and all of their ongoing training and support requirements.  She also takes care of all of the client bookings and administration, making sure all the dogs are booked in at the right times and with their buddies.

Our Walkers

Our Cotswold Hound Team of dedicated walkers are hand picked and vetted based on their love for dogs, approach to how they care for the dogs and willingness to go the extra mile. We’re proud to have such a great team of individuals working for Cotswold Hound. We’re always looking for the right people to join the team. Contact us for more info if interested.

Maddie

Maddie is our busiest team member with a “can do attitude” . She works hard to understand dog behaviour and problem solve and is super with adolescent dogs.

“I’ve always loved dogs and being able to work with them at Cotswold Hound is a dream come true! I love getting to know each dog's personality and making their walks as enriching as possible. I grew up around rescue dogs and I have always been interested in learning about dog behaviour and training. There is nothing better than being able to enjoy a walk in the Gloucestershire countryside with the dogs!”

Nic

Nic is our longest standing Cotswold Hound walker and is gentle and caring. "I love dogs, big or small and all the different breeds and genuinely love walking. My regular dogs include a mixture of fun-loving cockapoo's, labradors and spaniels. I enjoy getting to know the unique personalities of the dogs I am walking and together we are discovering many new and lovely walks. My favorite walks include starting in Burrows field then heading up Leckhampton Hill through the fields behind St Peters Church, Barber woods and exploring Daisybank."

Sue

Sue has a wealth of dog experience and is practical, reliable and outdoorsy.

“Living in Cheltenham, I share my home with a young, energetic Labrador named Dizzy. Dogs have always been an essential part of my life - I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by them and to raise my own children in a home filled with wagging tails.

Over the past few years I have embarked on various training courses with our team’s trainer, Barnaby. There’s something very special about watching dogs revel in their walks, interacting with them as they explore the world around them. Few things compare to the joy of strolling through the countryside with our canine companions - loyal, loving and undeniably our best friends.

Kaity

Kaity is our youngest team member and is dog mad.

“I may look petit but I have grown up around Dorset Old Tyme Bulldog Mastiff crosses! I am a lover of spaniels too! love music and spending times with dogs."
