Bryony also has experience in supporting newborns if you are considering having a litter in the future.
Integration into Group Walks
Every puppy is different in terms of confidence, temperament, training to date and motivation. We take time in getting to know your puppy, using their commands to build up to joining group walks. Some dogs only need one 121 trial walk, others quite a few more before we can introduce them into our packs.
Only when you feel like your puppy’s recall is consistent will we begin to test this in a safe area on a 121 basis with a long line until it is also consistent with us. To make sure all of our group walking dogs are safe, recall must be strong individually and not dependent on the pack.
Adolescence
Adolescence is a challenging time and you can feel like all your hard work is going out of the window. As a team we have over a decade of supporting dogs through this period. We work hard to manage overplay, practise impulse control and often build in extra 121’s or referral to training to support both owners and dogs.
